This collection explores the organic aesthetics of Western Australia's coastal regions: clear waters, white sands and the Indian Ocean sunset.
Taking references from Cottesloe’s iconic white sand beach, its turquoise waters set the translucency concept within the 9-outfit collection. This is seen throughout the use of silk organza panels layered in a wave-like manner that reflects the softness of the waves washing over the sand. The textural quality of the sand inspired the use of matte fabrics in hues of tan and white such as crepes, linens and cottons unified by the luminescence of shell buttons.
Plenty of A-line silhouettes which are reminiscent of comfort and ease that are both consistent elements of the label: midi dresses in silk crepe de chine consisting of a colour palette inspired by the light reflected onto the formation of waves against the pastel sky such as wisteria blue, mint green, dusty pink and a hint of golden yellow.
